It is our pleasure to announce that, with a support of International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation, Bosnian Evaluation Society and Slovenian Evaluation Society are organizing first regional conference and meeting of evaluators from Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Monte Negro, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aim is to strengthen regional cooperation within evaluation field through regional cooperation, exchange of ideas and experience in evaluation in Western Balkan countries.
Second conference will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia in February 2014.
Evaluation for Development from VOPE from South Asia, which is working to strengthen the field of evaluation in the South Asian region through knowledge sharing, networking and advocacy, capacity building, and the institutionalisation and professionalization of evaluation in the region. The CoE in association with the Community of Evaluators Nepal is organizing its second evaluation conclave - Evaluation for Development, which will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal from 26th February to 1st March. It will feature keynote speeches from eminent experts like Michael Q Patton, Robert Chambers, and AK Shiv Kumar, and workshops by practitioners like Marco Segone, Donna Mertens, Murray Saunders and Patricia Rogers. In addition, the exciting programme will consist of expert-led panels, coffee shop sessions, and networking events. Evaluation Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina became a member of the European Evaluation Society, which main task is to promote and enhance the theory, practice, and use of quality evaluations, especially, but not exclusively, within Europe. The European Evaluation Society brings together experts and practitioners from across Europe and from different sectors, creating a common forum where all parties can benefit from cooperation and membership in the EES.
