Announcement for the first Development Evaluation Training in Balkan – BALDET 2013 Evaluation Society in Bosnia has pleasure to invite you to Balkan Development Evaluation Training BALDET 2013 which will be held from 02-08 December in Fojnica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are in the application process and at the same time we are looking for scholarships for participant who are not able to pay fee. The basis of the curriculum follows successful postulates of the summer school IPDET (www.ipdet.org) which is annualy organized by Carleton University, Ottawa Canada.

World famous experts within field Ms Linda G. Morra Imas and Mr Ray C. Rist, president of IDEAS an independent organization of evaluation professionals are going to be lecturers, the training is highly recommended to evaluators, managers of development projects.

Upon succesfully finished training participants will be issued IPDET certificates.

Admission fee is 1263,60 EUR (VAT included). Please note that we are working to ensure scholarships. After initial registration, all registered participants will be able to apply for limited number of scholarships provided by donors. Criteria for selection of scholarship recipients are going to be set by the donors. Admission fee covers lectures, training material, accommodation, food, and transportation from Sarajevo to Fojnica, and from Fojnica to Sarajevo. Participants will receive printed and digital copy of the training handbook as well as other material needed for the training, including books Road to results in Bosnian or English and digital copy of the book Ten Steps to a Results-based Monitoring and Evaluation System.

Full accommodation will be provided in single bed rooms. Full board will be provided from lunch on 02. 12. 2013. to breakfast 08. 12. 2013. Transportation to hotel will be provided by hotel bus from Sarajevo on Monday morning (02. 12. 2013) and return on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning (08.12. 2013).
